Well just been playing with this so called Activities stuf guess what
it's a total failure
Try it and see
generate an Activity via the peanut thingy
Open an application in the new activity
the leaving that app open switch back to your other activity via the
silly peanut thingy and hey presto not only is the app center screen
when activities are zoomed out but it is still there when you have
switched now i dunno whos idea/interpretation of the idea is but it aint
a goer
Maybe the KDE team need a bit of a pokingto jiffy them up a little on
this one plus a few others
I mentioned that, and to me it seems counter intuitive.
Will Stephenson commented that with more details:
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2009-02/msg00555.html
I would prefer to see Activities with properties similar to sessions
without need to look in effects of switching between Xorg instances.

Regards, Rajko
Hi .
Well something needs doing because the way it is rtight now i simply does not
work i would not m ind it it was something "Brand New" but it is something
that we have been on the tail of for a good long time and only now they have
a fried version of KDE out they add a seriously fried attempt at per desktop
icons , Instead we get something that is a real monster that cant even walk
let alone crawl .
It may not be quite so bad if an app that was opened on one of the Activities
stayed there and did not follow you whereever you went just what the point
of that is i fail to see .
Cheers Pete .
