[opensuse] what packages for ipod touch?

Listmates,

My son got an ip "touch" for his birthday and I'm trying to figure out the
tools on Linux to use. So far I can see the device, but that's about it. I have
used the tools in oss, pacman and banshee, but I'm still stuck any hints?
