[opensuse] disabling KDE services across the board

Hello everybody,
Just wondering if anybody knows of a good way to disable KDE services
(upgrade search, cataloguing services like Beagle, etc.) for all KDe
users on a given machine? These things seem to take up way too much
resources and they don't seem to be all that useful...
Thanks.
Boris.
