Dear List,
Need you advise to compile kernel. I got a difficulty to do it for
OpenSuSE 11.1 on motherboard Intel.
Your advises are very appreciated and waited for.
Why you need to compile your own kernel in the first place ? -default
kernel should work just fine..
Need some enhancements (and add some patches) that not available in stock
kernel.
Thx & Rgds,
Wong
Wong,
The standard opensuse kernel comes with source and all the config
options already chosen. Compile it wherever / however you can. Then
add your extra patches and recompile.
You should not need to be making decisions like in your first email.
Just go with the standard answers opensuse uses.
OK Greg.
Would you tell me where I can get resource about how-to enhanced OpenSuSE Linux?
This is my first time to use SuSE Linux, I want to optimize and make it efficiently.
Thx & Rgds,
Wong
