that is? vista don't boot or you can't see the files from openSUSE?
There are some files, that I need to recover. I looked at gparted but
have no clue as what to do. If I would increase the recovery partition
would vista spring to life again?
?? AFAIK the recovery partition is only a copy of the installer,
allowing to recover the computer on it's initial state (losing all the
new stuff), nothing you should ever write to.
