There simply might no YaST developer be on this list.

The machine is now running Ubuntu. Their network installation works.

Also the SUSE network install works very well. I've used it many, many
times for remote upgrades without any issue. With several versions of
SUSE Linux Enterprise and openSUSE.

If you don't follow the defined bug report workflow you can't expect
qualified feedback. See http://en.opensuse.org/Submitting_Bug_Reports

While opensuse@xxxxxxxxxxxx is for "Generic questions and User to User
support for the openSUSE distribution" and is not the primarily
interface to drop bug reports. See http://lists.opensuse.org/
