After this morning update (zypper up), Amarok stop working.
Trying to start it from konsole. I get the following:

amarok(11800)/kdecore (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from
"/var/tmp/kdecache-andre/ksycoca4"
<unknown program name>(11792)/: Communication problem with "amarok" , it
probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown" : " "The name
org.kde.amarok was not provided by any .service files" "

Anybody has a clue?
Thanks,
Andre.
I have 2 system running same 11.2 kde 4.4 one laptop other desktop, I
ran into the same problem. On the laptop it worked fine on my desktop
would crash with same error above.
My amarok works now and I can reproduce the error everytime.
Here is what I did on my system:
The file ~/.kde4/share/config/amarok_homerc was causing the problem, I
had activated a applet called info, I removed the reference to this from
that file and amarok started and plays just fine.
Before:
[Containment 0]
firstShowingApplet=3
plugins=wikipedia,videoclip,lyrics,info
[Directories]
dir_html[$d]
dir_locale[$d]
prefixes[$d]
After (amarok runs fine)
[Containment 0]
firstShowingApplet=3
plugins=wikipedia,videoclip,lyrics
[Directories]
dir_html[$d]
dir_locale[$d]
prefixes[$d]
Hope this helps someone
Thanks,
Tony
