I use basic soft. Browser, Word Processor, Mail client, Video player,
Download manager & Torrent client. The only resource hog I run is Kmail

Hi,
open a konsole and type in top, then hit enter. The display should tell
you what is using up the cpu's power, and that will give you somewhere
to start troubleshooting. Post what you find so that others on the list
can help you.
