The proprietary nvidia drivers are at ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/ The 11.3 repo is now up. You can also try the "nouveau" driver now bundled with the kernel.
Thanks, but I need the drivers for my 11.2 and I have not found older
versions on such URL.

The bad of the story is that who is managing these updates should at
least test it before to uploading on public repos [IMHO].

By adding the symbolic link this way and by issuing modprobe:

1) ln -s /lib/modules/2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop/updates/nvidia.ko
/lib/modules\/2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia/

2) modprobe nvidia

note: my kernel flavour is 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop, while nvidia driver
was installed by the zypper up into /lib/modules/2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop

At the end not a big pain!
