Hi,
just upgraded my main workstation (nvidia GeForce 6200) to 11.3 and
I'm pretty disappointed by the gfx performance (in 2D! mode).
When switching virtual desktop I can actually see how the windows
are rendered what I couldn't with 11.2 before with nvidia drivers.
Hygiea:~ # rpm -qa | grep -i nvidia
x11-video-nvidiaG02-256.35-15.1.x86_64
nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-desktop-256.35_k2.6.34.0_12-14.1.x86_64
I know this is proprietary stuff but still I was wondering if
people have some hints to improve the performance.
Try the workarounds described in comment #22 here:

Oh, thank you!
My system (with an 8600GT) was annoyingly sluggish before when I
switched windows.
I don't see real difference with those workarounds :-(
