Hi,
Same platform here and SKYPE(version 2.1.0.81) chat (console) is OK, but
no video/audio-chat.
Problem is on my USB webcam wherein video is OK but audio (mic) is
absent due the fact the embedded mic is still unrecognized by the
kernel.
Have you verified to have installed all dependencies SKYPE requires?
