It's perhaps not _necessary_ to swear, but it's actually
_counter-productive_ to care about merely seeing it.

No, it's again a question of abiding to the rules of the medium you've
chosen to use! It's your choice to not follow them but then you have
to accept that others will kick you out. This is a mainling list with
a clear topic and rules, not speakers corner in Hyde park.

For now roughly 20 years I'm using email and am yet again astonished
how the indirect way of communication makes people use wordings and
behaviour that most wouldn't dare in direct personal communication ...
