I'm not sure what happened but konqueror seems not to be able to display
the bookmark toolbar anymore. I was running kde 4.5 but upgraded to 4.6

i can switch bookmarks toolbar on & off under settings->toolbars shown w/o
problems. what do you see under the settings menu? (KDE 4.6.0 from
KDE-distro-factory).
You are correct. I checked again. It is working but the problem seems to be
that something has wiped out all my bookmarks. So when I attempted to switch
the toolbar on nothing happened because there were no bookmarks there. I will
have to start again I guess.
