Aha, good. Reason why I asked is that a friend of mine used to borrow his friend's scanner which had SCSI connection but after he "misplaced" the adaptor he had to go and buy a 'normal' scanner :-) .

It wasn't all that long ago that all scanners were SCSI devices. There must be a lot of them
still in use. Anyone who has been seriously using computers for a while probably has a SCSI
card in his junk box. (I do.) Googling found an Adaptek for prices ranging from $5.00 to over
$100, so there's one for you somewhere, if you don't have one.
