Both distros are fairly user friendly. However, when something goes
wrong
in
Ubuntu its much harder to fix. Whereas we have a tool in openSUSE called
YaST
that helps alleviate a lot of the complexity and confusion. Linux is a
different way, and will take some getting used to.
Then I definitely go with openSUSE. Got many emails and all emphasize
on opensuse, there must be some sure shot reason, I should go with it
only....
Thanks for the confirmation.....In two days just install 12.1...
But our solutions aren't as in your face as theirs. For example, they have an
app that looks for third party drivers to make your things work. Other
distros may make you figure it out all for yourself. We on the otherhand...
usually all you will have to do is add the repo that contains the drivers or
codecs and the package management will pull them all in automatically.
