Try update xdg-utils from

Maybe you're able to bisect this to an individual change set we might
have to merge?

It's our general approach in the openSUSE project to be as less as
possible intrusive with changes to a released product.  As other
components of the system might depend or rely on a stable inteface/
predictable behavior.

I also must ask if we have a bug ID to track this and get the fix
published if you get positive feedback on it?

As soon as you got the feedback it works please pass the issue in
bugzilla to state needinfo from maintenance@xxxxxxxxxxxx

See http://en.openSUSE.org/Portal:Maintenance about how this is supposed
to work.  The goal is to get the xdg-utils fixed for all our openSUSE
users if required.
Surely it's required for LXDE users

One particular fix or the full version upgrade to 1.1.0-rc1?

I'm not convinced that it would be a good idea to lift the current
version to this rc state.  That one more reason to point at the
particular fix needed if possible.

I test LXDE (openSUSE 12.1) several months ago
but I've turn back to KDE4 soon (my wife didn't like it ^^)

Yeah, the only reason to stay with KDE are the social correction units.
;)

so I can't test this new xdg-utils package 1.1.0-rc1

If it works OK
I'll sent a submit request to X11:common:Factory

Please ensure add the request ID, better the full clickable URL back to
the list.

Independet of this we need a bug report to request the ack from
maintenance@xxxxxxxxxxxx as decribed in the wiki article I quoted.

The bug ID should be part of the package change log in the form:

- Fix foo bar click and point feature; (bnc#7623445).
I've report a bug in https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=752977

Yes, the xdg-utils fixed it. Thanks.

Such an ack belongs to the bug ID.  Cause than the people driving the
maintenance process see it directly.  It would be extra work to them and
very time consuming to check multiple openSUSE lists.

Cheers,

Lars
