It's our general approach in the openSUSE project to be as less as
possible intrusive with changes to a released product.  As other
components of the system might depend or rely on a stable inteface/
predictable behavior.

to work.  The goal is to get the xdg-utils fixed for all our openSUSE
users if required.

One particular fix or the full version upgrade to 1.1.0-rc1?

I'm not convinced that it would be a good idea to lift the current
version to this rc state.  That one more reason to point at the
particular fix needed if possible.

I test LXDE (openSUSE 12.1) several months ago
but I've turn back to KDE4 soon (my wife didn't like it ^^)

Yeah, the only reason to stay with KDE are the social correction units.

Independet of this we need a bug report to request the ack from

The bug ID should be part of the package change log in the form:

Such an ack belongs to the bug ID.  Cause than the people driving the
maintenance process see it directly.  It would be extra work to them and
very time consuming to check multiple openSUSE lists.
