[opensuse] Amarok and the last MySQL updates not solved issues

HI,

I am posting it here because the wide experienced audience.

On the last MySQL updates to -5.5.25-3.9.2.i586 there is some security
patches and some bug fixes. The known issue between Amarok -2.5.0-17.1.i586
(probably any version) and MySQLe still persists
http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/multimedia/475603-
amarok-problem.html

This issue impacts podcasts, music collections, audiobooks and some playlists
path to make them disappear
Keeping the MySQL-5.5.16-x.x.x downgrade seems not smart or sustainable
anymore.

xxxx~> rpm -qa | grep -i mysql
libmysqld18-5.5.25-3.9.2.i586
libreoffice-base-drivers-mysql-3.4.5.5-4.5.1.i586
mysql-community-server-client-5.5.25-3.9.2.i586
libmysqlclient18-5.5.25-3.9.2.i586
mysql-community-server-5.5.25-3.9.2.i586
libqt4-sql-mysql-4.7.4-19.4.1.i586

Consulting the KDE bugs seems showing it is MySQL+Distro related or maybe the
way MySQL was packed. This not confirmed.

Does anyone knows a better solution than just downgrade MySQL or using another
player?
