[opensuse] thunderbird script errors



I am continuously getting "script errors" with thunderbird, and it is becoming quite disruptive to my regular work. It switches focus to a dialog box with the script error while I am in the middle of other things and has the following words:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Following this is a type of URL or something.

This is now happening about every 5 minutes as long as I have thunderbird open. Any ideas on what I should try? Perhaps go back to an earlier version of thunderbird?
