[opensuse] Help me liberate my smartphone!!!

I'm sick of running a closed OS on my phone, and using closed apps. At
the very least I'd like to flash it with Cyanogen mod or some such...
though I'd rather have Firefox OS or WebOS.

Any suggestions? I'm tired of this broken, spying mess from Verizon. I
know this isn't exactly openSUSE specific, but I can think of no better
community than my own to answer this quest.

*Problem with Cyanogen mod is that their DL links seem to be broken.
