IrDA support

Hi,
I have change the mobile phone to nokia 6510 with IrDA support. The usb known as Mobile Action Technology, Inc. MA-620 Infrared Adapter
root@asep-ubuntu:~# /usr/bin/lsusb

The question is : 1. How to enable IrDA connection on Linux ? 2. How to make sure that the IrDA work correctly ?
Any help would be appreciated.
