Great place to advertise Windows!?!
Error! OEM exists with OpenSource Linux distributions _too_.
Fancy all the big enterprises would have the time and money to run their
own computer department to get a Linux in ? no they don't all have their own administrators. Instead of that they buy services and OEM means a specific type of contract which is not related to what OS or what distribution.
Define:OEM http://foldoc.org/foldoc.cgi?query=OEM&action=Search Original Equipment Manufacturer
<company> (OEM) A misleading term for a company which repackages equipment, such as computers, made by other companies. Unlike a value added reseller, an OEM does not necessarily add anything except their name to the product. In some cases though they may integrate components into complete systems. OEM arrangements are often made for marketing reasons. [Origin?] (2001-04-09) Try this search on Wikipedia, OneLook, Google
