-abi and older "nix" programs customized to Intel Hardware in 80's and 90's

Hi all,

Is anyone running Breezy with the -abi patch and working with 'nix' programs
which were customized to Intel hardware in the late 80's early 90's? Which
programs are successful on Linux.

I want to experiment with Informix SE and Informix SQL. Any input will be
appreciated.

Thanks for your input, Haris -- I did find -abi for 2.6.12 kernel, but have
not been able to spare the time to install Informix 5.01.

Lonn
