When I boot up, if I'm quick on the draw and hit the ESC during the boot,
it offers the default kernel (which it would have used had I not hit ESC),
any other kernels I have installed, and "memtest"... Your mileage may
vary. (The countdown during which you can hit the ESC is rather short,
but you can lengthen it by editing the GRUB menu file /boot/grub/menu.lst
and changing the value for "timeout".)
