How to stop auto-load/play??

I am using kubuntu breezy and am a little disturbed by the fact that, each and
every time I place a DVD in the tray, the wrong program autoloads along with
the kfmclient. The first isn't my choice for a player --I prefer xine. The
latter always shows an error of some sort rather than showing the contents of
the DVD ...which is unimportant. I would really like to turn this off but am
uncertain where to look to be able to disable the option.
