Amarok crashes, complains about kmail

HI,

I am an ubuntu user who's been using Amarok successfully till earlier
today. Now when I start it up, I get the following error message (in
the terminal):

QLayout: Adding KToolBar/mainToolBar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to
layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow
QPainter::begin: Cannot paint null pixmap
kio (Scheduler): FATAL: BUG! _ScheduleJob(): No extraJobData for job!
Could not find 'kmail' executable.

I also get a gui popup window saying "Could not 'Kmail' executable"

What caused this problem, how do I report this as a bug? Is there an
easy way to fix this?
