Correction:
Do you have /dev/sda1 ?
Do the follow:
sudo mkdir /media/stick
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/stick
The mount line mounts your usb stick.

I have a USB device which that other rubbish OS detects easily.
Ubuntu (Breezy) ignores it and I can't find any app/whatever to
help. :-( What should I do?
