Ah yes - mp3wrap tries to make an mp3 I think... I need to re-read the man

That is does. I'm afraid it only wants to build mp3 files.
I just tried this on an experimental file set made with mp3splt though:
cat syrinx_000.00_001.45.ogg syrinx_001.45_003.30.ogg > test.ogg
ogg123 test.ogg plays fine (it identifies the split point but without
pausing) Seems to play fine in beep-media-player and vlc too...
Perhaps you could try this with your split files and see if it works for
you.
Well, sometimes you just overlook the easy way, right? :) I feel silly now.
It works, though not flawlessly. At least XMMS playing there's a small
glitch when the first song turns into the second within this new file. Also
a funny detail, I renamed the file so that it has the intro name and the
song name that comes right after the intro. On the album it's a flawless
transition. Now when the glitch happens, the song title in XMMS playlist
also changes to the original song title. :) However, if I start the song
over, it shows the title I wrote.
I can live with this, but I'm gonna look for something that would do the
same without the glitch. Thanks Peter!
