gnump3d port problem

Hi all,

I've tried configuring gnump3d to set up a streaming music server, but
when I try to start it up I get:

Couldn't create the listening socket for receiving incoming
requests upon

Perhaps the port 8888 is already in use?

This is the error message the system returned:

Cannot assign requested address
--------------

This happens for all ports that I try to set it to...
