No worries, Derek. :-) Suffice it to say that I made a mistake, too.
It's not J2SE 5.0 Release 7 that's in Multiverse, it's J2SE 5.0
Release 6. ;-)

Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_06-b05)

Hi Chris,
weird. I am finding that Java 1.4.2 is installed. and I am not able to find
J2SE 5.0 with the synaptic app.
What might I be doing wrong?
