iPod-alike recommendations

I'm looking for a replacement for my venerable (and huge!) RCA jukebox.
Basically I'm looking for something like an iPod but which features the
following:

1. It has to be supported well (not like, say, Bluetooth is
"supported") under Ubuntu. (It looks like a Creative box would
do the trick here.) This is, for obvious reasons,
non-negotiable.
2. It has to play MP3s. This is, again for obvious reasons once my
52GB of MP3s is taken into account, non-negotiable.
3. It should also be able to play OGG format. This is negotiable
since I have no OGG files at all right now and could live
without them for a while longer.
4. It would be nice if it could play the various Microsoft formats.
This is highly negotiable, but a nice feature to enjoy should
the need arise.
5. It should not force any kind of DRM on me nor should the company
be known to "upgrade" the firmware in such a way as to render
the device less operable after the "upgrade".
6. It must be a minimum of 40GB in capacity, preferably larger. (I
point again to the 52GB of music files for reasons why.)

The actual iPod is disqualified on #1 and #5 and, in most of its models,
#6. Which ones meet all the criteria? Which ones meet #1, #2, #5 and
#6?
