Re: gdm starts only failsafe session

I am the one who submitted the bug report. I still have this issue on a
couple of machines. I don't know what the common factor between those
machines is. Especially since the only thing i've been doing is
patching them with security and general updates from Ubuntu.



And yes, my /tmp is clean :

drwxrwxrwt 9 root root 4096 2006-07-31 07:35 tmp



Now my issue still remains, only failsafe login allowed from GDM. KDM
does not have that problem so it is something around GDM but so far, i
have been unable to pinpoint the faulty file/package ...
