Thanks to all of the responders. I'm having trouble
getting my digest and found the replies in the archives.
Therefore the late response.
The Flash 8 issue aside, I have been able to play the
listed sites with firefox(don't like) and rarely with
Mozilla browser with Debian Sid but neither has work
under Ubuntu and Kubuntu Desktop(just installed). I've
tried both global and local setups and perhaps screwed
something up. Regarding Colin Brace's and albi's replies,
sound like something I need and will check it out.
I'm am confused about all the available plugins and have
all installed, I think, and wonder if that could be
bugging the issue. I emailed Ari Pollak, maintainer,
regarding Debian's mozilla-mplayer a while back and he
suggested(adamently) that I uninstall all the plugins and
just use one. He left the discourse(too busy) before we got
anything done. I have played with the setup since installing
Ubuntu & Kubuntu getting the mplayerplug-in to load, buffer
and even say playing but it doesn't. I may recycle several
several times then stop. That's the best I've done with setup.
Any further comments/suggestions are most welcome.
Attached are some related setup files and anyone may send me
a copy of mostly working setup files for mozilla if they wish.
Please forgive the long reply. When I get the digest, that should
stop. Thanks for any followup.
