Hell, no. I don't have 150W to spare (though with a laptop, it's nothing
like that anyway).

I can understand third-party apps not working, like video conferencing,
because they were not interested in supporting linux..but for something
that should have been built in to the core OS, this is disheartening.

It's there. In the kernel. Works out of the box.

Good riddance, I say.
