installing KPPP

i want to install kppp on UBUNTU where as this package is in KUBUNTU
so i have tried following coomands but it didn't work

sudo apt-cdrom add
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install kppp

Any body can tell me where i m wrong
if i m totally wrong in installing kppp (which i think i m) tell me the
rightway
