Hi all,
please forgive my ignorance, I have downloaded
[linuxcookbook_1.2.orig.tar.gz] , but have no idea what to do
to access it. have untarred it, but what do I do next, file list gives me
no hints.
Thanks in advance,
Use the binary instead.
$ wget
http://ftp.ubuntulinux.org/ubuntu/pool/universe/l/linuxcookbook/linuxcookbook_1.2-1_all.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i linuxcookbook_1.2-1_all.deb
many thanks for that, the tar.gz didn't have any html files in it.
Have installed with dpkg.
Thanks a lot,
Take Care
