gmail dav faster than gmx? invitation needed...

hi,

I have successfully set up davfs mounting for gmx on my pc. I just need
to type "mount /place/to/mount/gmx". It works but speed is really an
issue.

I was wondering if gmail webdav space has a better access behaviour?
Given their sheer big ressources they could afford it.

Would like to have a go but gmail requires invitation. Can anyone do me
this favour?
