You probably do not need to be in the "fuse" group unless you use, for
example, sshfs or perhaps ntfs-3g ( not sure about the latter)

Only the first user ( the "sudo" enabled user ) is in the "admin" group by
default. There might be some extras in my list, but adding your user to
those should do no harm anyway...
The problem you will have is that your new user will not be able to use
sudo - so I suggest that you use "recovery" mode on boot to get a root
prompt, and add your user to "admin" first.
