If you go to the firefox extensions/addons page and search for
'Session Manager' both 'Session Manager' and 'Tab Mix Plus' are
returned; I think either of these will cover your needs.
Neither of these seesm to be compatible with Firfox 2.x, which is
what gets installed on 6.10. Should I "downgrade" to Firfox 1.x? Is
this possible within the Ubuntu package management system?
A crude workaround for the saved session is to force-kill FF. When
re-opened it will ask you about opening the saved session.
