So, you need to figure out why the mail is looping.
Try adding foo.srrb.noaa.gov to mydestination. By the way, that host name
doesn't resolve to an IP address, at least not from where I'm sitting. Is
it supposed to?
Thanks for the suggestion, but no help. I munged that machine name so
it wouldn't resolve.
If you would, please send me the unmunged logs and the full main.cf and
master.cf offlist. Send the full logs for the period in question, not just
for that specific transaction.
I'll look at them tonight or in the AM and maybe I'll see something I don't
see in the munged logs.
Strangest thing. After I tried the last suggestions and they didn't
work I left things as is until today. I saw your post and thought I
should give it another shot, and of course it is now working. I'm
happy it is now working, but I wish I knew why.
