Currently, I use an old windows machine to run Hamachi, so that my
brother and I can play bridge, as partners, against the computer running
Bridge Baron. I would prefer to use my Ubuntu machine and am able to run
Bridge Baron using Crossover.
I would like to learn whether anyone has experience of using Hamachi
under Ubuntu. Any advice would be very welcome and thanks in advance.
What is it about Hamachi that's necessary to playing with Bridge Baron? I
would have thought you could play without it.
(we've been trying out all the available bridge programs recently, and for
networked gaming against a computer, I prefer GIB on BridgeBase - which I
play using Linux; for standalone, I prefer MicroBridge - which I haven't
tried on Linux).

My brother lives 300 km away hence the need for Hamachi or something
similar.
