Can anybody help me to set the dial up connection?

These are the proxy settings provided by national
telephone company (Telkom), everyone here should use
it to access the proxy:

Phone number: 080989999
User name: telkomnet@instant
Password: telkom

Hi Aditya,
my personal preference for setup is via command line.
Open a terminal Applications menu up top, > Accessories > Terminal,
then type as below

sudo pppconfig and press "enter" give your password when asked (and
"enter") and fill in the information. connect when finished by typing
pon (if you left the ISP section blank,
otherwise pon and whatever you put in the ISP field.) Dissconnect by
typing poff
This should all be OK if you have an external modem. If you are using a
winmodem (software) others may be able to help you.
OR
Up to System menu, down to Administration > Networking and set it up there.

Hope this helps,
Take Care
Winton
