mythtv how-to

i am looking for the easiest way to configure and use mythtv. i have
tried other how-to's, searched the ubuntu forum, and googled to death.
is there a step-by-step way of doing this, and getting it right the
first time? i am using ubuntu 6.10, with a haupage pvr150 card already
installed. thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.
