Tell me the IP addresses of your router and your machines. Are you
running a firewall on any of the machines?
If you've got nmap installed, and suppose your Windoze IP is
192.168.1.5, open a terminal window and type:
sudo nmap -sT 192.168.1.5 -p 139
What's the result?
