Has anyone used the HP Photosmart C3180 printer? Here's a link:
The Linux Printer database says it's completely supported, but I
believe
that's just the printer functions. I don't see any all-in-ones in
the XSane
list, so I'm not sure it rates anything but standalone scanners.
If I get one (they're on sale now at Office Depot) I need for both
the printer
and scanner functions to work.

I'd already seen that. It confirms the *PRINTER* works. It's the scanner that
I'm trying to find out about.
It uses the common hplip system. Which you can get the installer for
from the linux printing site, or even better - it's included precompiled
with feisty!!
I have an HP all in one 3055 and the network scanning works fine with
feisty (hplip) and everything else. It seems that HP have by far the
best linux support for their devices
