I sort of a newbie and definitely get confused on these gstreamers. Are we
talking about the same thing beings that some of these plugins come from the
multiverse and so forth. Below are some of my Edgy notes. Has it changed
in Feisty?

The gstreamer0.10-* packages are in the default install*, therefore no
need to install it unless you actively removed it.

* The ubuntu-desktop metapackage depends on it
