libata loading old drivers

I have recently upgraded from Edgy to Feisty. I have read that Feisty is
supposed to use libata drivers for PATA and SATA drives. I can see from
lsmod that the libata drivers are loaded. However my drives are all
listed as /dev/hda1,/dev/hda5, /dev/hdc etc. What do I need to do to
have my drives in /dev/sd* where I have read they should be using
libata? I should note here that I did my upgrade using aptitude
dist-upgrade rather than using the update manager if it makes a
difference.
Thanks for any help,
Lorenzo
