Epiphany-browser and tabbed browsing

I use Ephiphany, mainly because I think its sweet. However it annoys me
that often links will open new windows not new tabs. Epiphany is capable
of tabbed browsing, but there is no option to open new windows in new
tabs. Does any body know how to enable this?

Cheers
Gabe
