Re: Strange USB Scaner Problem

Hi all,

After spending an hour (!) carefully reading all the bug thread (quite
long!) I understand there isn't an acceptable user-friendly solution.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If this is the case I will have to switch back to
Edgy....

It is really annoying that the development team knows about the bug and
still doesn't intend to fix it until the next distro release on October
2007....

Should I switch back to Edgy or any of you knows of a pending update to fix
this (say - in the next two weeks or a month time)?

Thanks!

Amichai.

It's a bug already reported - see

My scanner doesn't work either - the page lists a few workarounds
