Re: Installing Ubuntu remotely

Hi Christian,

That would be interesting, I've done this only with the help of a serial
console tunneled through a ssh connection.

Has anyone done anything like this before or is there an "official"
solution or howto for network installations?

You may want to look at the FAI (fully automatic installation), at my
work we are using this to set-up more than 600 computers within about
30-40 minutes :)

I don't know how much you have to change to make this work on Ubuntu (it
was initially designed for Debian).
