Regarding acer-hotkeys led

hi,
I am running Feisty on Acer Aspire 1641 NWLMI. It has got a bluetooth
and wireless switch and other special hotkeys as well like an email button,
web button , euro key, $ key(this dollar is generated using Shift-4, etc. To
enable these hotkeys
a module acerhk is required which I checked by lsmod is loaded. Wireless is
running on my laptop and the wireless switch works to enable and to shut it
down but the led doesnt work in the switch. Same with the Bluetooth switch.

I tried sudo echo 1 > /proc/driver/acerhk/blueled

sudo echo 1 > /proc/driver/acerhk/wirelessled

Both the commands produce no errors but still the led doesnt glow.
The special hotkeys ie euro sign and dollar sign do not work as well

Can someone help me out regarding this?
Regards,
Vivek
